The ghosts of WaMu

It has been 11 days since the FDIC took over Washington Mutual and sold them to JPMorgan Chase, but I continue to get credit card solicitations from WaMu in the mail, like little unsettled spirits or ghosts or echoes of a lumbering giant that is having trouble completely dying or finding peace in death. I am tempted to call in one of the offers and see what happens.
